Dimitra Xidous is the author of Keeping Bees (2014, Doire Press). Her work has appeared in a number of literary journals, including Room Magazine (Canada)
, Visual Verse (UK), The Stinging Fly (Ireland). She was a finalist in The Malahat Review Open Season Awards (2014), short-listed for The Bridport Prize (2013) and the Over The Edge Emerging New Writer Award (2013), and long-listed for the Montreal International Poetry Competition (2011). She was the Featured Poet in the Spring 2014 Issue of The Stinging Fly. She has read her work at a number of literary festivals including the Belfast Book Festival (United Kingdom), The Dublin Book Festival (Ireland) and the Valencia International Literary Festival (Slovenia). With Patrick Chapman, she co-founded and co-edits The Pickled Body, a poetry and art magazine. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, she has lived in Greece, Scotland, Spain, and currently resides in Dublin, Ireland.
